Some time ago, I contacted my old friend *Sir-Bombers (https://www.deviantart.com/sir-bombers) to commission an Ion Age illustration from him. Bombers is a great cartoonist, with a quirky exagerrated drawing style that I like very much. So I wanted to see what the Ion Age would look like depicted by him. Now recently he has finished this drawing and posted it up onto his dA page. As expected, I really do like it a lot. I think he really captured some of the frenzy of an Ion Age firefight here. Just today it was announced on the blog of The Ion Age Website http://theionage.com/ that our latest rules system, "Patrol Angis" has entered the playtesting phase. This is exciting news, as it will be a great addition to the other two rulesets (Firefight and Moth) which are both for our 28mm scale miniatures, and this new one will finally cover our ever expanding range of 15mm Ion Age miniatures. Patrol Angis will first of all focus on the Prydian civil war; the Marcher Barons' struggle for supremacy, while the Prydian army tries to reunite the realm and restore order. Today was an important day; today The Ion Age ( http://theionage.com/ ) launched.
